Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions are required?
We will discuss a tailored treatment plan with you during your free consultation.
The number of treatments required will vary from patient-to-patient, however, typically, a course of 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended to get the best results.
Does it hurt?
A Topical anaesthesia is applied for comfort 20 minutes prior to treatment.
Are there any side effects or risks?
Common risks are redness, slight swelling, blood spotting and irritation immediately during and after treatment.
Do I need to take off to recover?
There is little downtime required post procedure, however you may experience some redness for 24-48 hours afterwards. It may take up to two to three days depending on the extent of the treatment.
What is the post treatment plan?
- Use only warm water to cleanse the face for the next 48 hours and pat dry using a clean towel
- Do not apply makeup for at least 12 hours
- A high factor SPF must be used
- Do not touch the area after treatment
- 12 hours following the treatment, not not exercise
When will I start to see results?
After procedure, you can notice the difference immediately and your skin will look revitalised naturally. Although, the full effect of the fillers won't be visible until 2-4 weeks after.
