Hyperhidrosis
If you are someone who is suffering with unexplained, abnormal amounts of sweat, whether that be from your armpits, hands, back or feet, you might have Hyperhidrosis.
The sweating can be found in only one specific area or the entire body. People who have been diagnosed with this condition sweat so much that it soaks through clothing and even drips off of the hands.

Botox for Excessive Sweating
Botox Injections
We believe that the best treatment for patients with excessive sweating is Botox® injections.
Botox for sweating is a highly effective method in dealing with this difficult condition and has been proven to reduce the symptoms dramatically.
It works by blocking the nerves that are responsible for activating your sweat glands. Our Hyperhidrosis treatment can safely control excessive sweating in specific areas where it is injected.
Areas We Treat & Diagnosis
Many people suffer with this condition which results in excessive sweating. Sweating normally can be annoying, let alone producing twice the amount, and even more. Botox for hyperhidrosis can help prevent this.
We treat the following areas of the body for excessive sweating:
- Armpits
- Hands
- Feet
- Back
- Head/Face
AL Aesthetics takes care of injecting into these areas, has detailed knowledge of the complex muscles and tissues for safe and effective treatment.
Before treatment, we will need to make sure that you definitely have been diagnosed with hyperhidrosis by either your GP or by AL Aesthetics.
Patients may be asked about the patterns of their sweating and the areas of the body that are suffering with excessive sweating. We may also like to know how often the episodes last for and if it happens over night.
We might need to know such information to determine whether this treatment is right for you and how much dosage is needed.

The effects of Botox for excessive sweating treatment can last up to 14 months, depending on your body’s response, providing a durable solution to a frustrating problem.
Improved confidence:
A decrease in excessive sweating means an increase in comfort and confidence for individuals affected by hyperhidrosis, leading to improved social, professional, and emotional well-being.
Customisable treatment:
Our skilled medical practitioners can adjust the dosage and frequency of Botox injections based on the severity of your excessive sweating and your desired results. This ensures you receive personalised care tailored to your needs.
How it Works
When injected into the affected areas, such as the armpits, palms, or soles, our excessive sweating treatment works by temporarily blocking the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is responsible for activating the sweat glands.
As a result, the signal from the nerves to stimulate the sweat glands is disrupted, leading to a significant reduction in the amount of sweat produced.

Results with BOTOX® may last for six months or longer and you can start seeing results after just 1 week. This varies on the amount being injected, as well as the targeted area.
For underarm sweating, results last from 4-14 months. However, the results may not last as long for the hands and feet so, you'll need to repeat treatment after about 6 months time.
What happens at my free consultation?
At your free consultation, we will take a medical history and discuss your areas of concern. Sometimes we may advise a different treatment to achieve the result you are looking for.
Do you offer aftercare?
Within 1 week after your treatment, we will invite you back for a check-up, just to make sure you’re comfortable and are having no problems.
How can I prepare for the excessive sweating treatment?
Being a quick and simple procedure, we just advise you to avoid shaving your armpits for 2-3 days prior appointment. Also, if you take blood thinning tablets, to stop taking them prior to the injections, this is due to prevention of bruising.

Is Botox for excessive sweating safe?
Yes, the dose given for cosmetic purposes is very low and hundreds of patients are treated every year with Al Aesthetics. Side effects include bruising and swelling, but these are temporary and should disappear within 48 hours.
What can I expect?
After procedure, you can notice the difference immediately and your skin will look revitalised naturally. Although, the full effect of the fillers won't be visible until 2-4 weeks after.
