People no longer need to go under the knife due to the wide range of available technologies and procedures. You can achieve a natural-looking, youthful look using a combination of non-surgical procedures, even in your 60s. You can schedule your appointment in many cases during your lunch break.

Three types of non-surgery facelifts

Resurfacing the skin's surface, tightening deeper tissues, and replenishing lost volume. A variety of treatments can be combined to accomplish your facial rejuvenation goals.

Botox

Botox, also known as Botulinum Toxin, can be used to treat a variety of conditions. Botox is a neuromodulator that is injected into the muscle to cause it to relax temporarily. A relaxed muscle cannot contract any more and can therefore not create wrinkles. Botox injections can effectively treat wrinkles around the eyes, forehead creases and crow's feet. Botox can also treat loose skin that causes banding around the neck. Botox results can be seen in the forehead, eye, jaw, and neck areas within 3-7 days. The effect lasts for three to six months. To prevent wrinkles from coming back, you will need to continue treatments. It may take multiple treatments to get deeper wrinkles under control. The most common side effect is temporary muscle weakness. It can also cause mild redness, irritation, and swelling at the injection site. These symptoms usually disappear within a few days.

Dermal Fillers

Loss of facial volume can cause sagging skin and fall of cheeks. In just a few minutes, volume can be restored, and you appear to have had a facelift. Fillers for the skin are used to plump up lines and increase volume. These fillers are most commonly used to treat the lower areas of the skin, such as the cheeks and the lines from your nose to the mouth (nasolabial lines), the lips and the lines from the sides to the chin (marionette line), scarring, indentations, and any other sunken parts of your face. They can be used under the eyes or in the temples if necessary. Dermal filler, made of hyaluronic (HA), can smoothen out static wrinkles. It is a natural substance found in the skin that provides nutrients. It retains moisture, softness, and volume. Fillers can pump up the skin, replace lost volume and smoothen the skin. Fillers can be used immediately and last between 9-12 months. Some fillers even promise to last up to 24 months with minimal downtime. Most people have no side effects. However, some may experience allergic reactions or be sensitive to the treatment.

Radiofrequency (RF) Treatment

Radiofrequency facial treatment (RF) is a technique that uses radio frequency energy to heat tissue and stimulates subdermal collagen production to reduce the appearance and feel of wrinkles and loose skin. This technique stimulates tissue re-modelling and the production of collagen and elastin. This treatment is an alternative to facelifts and other cosmetic procedures. The FDA has approved radio frequency facial therapy as a non-surgical option for treating skin problems. The treatment is quick and requires minimal downtime. The best part is that the results are immediate.

Radiofrequency (RF) facial treatment works by radio waves that penetrate the dermis and subcutaneous layers of skin. This causes tightening of the tissues, which results in fine lines, wrinkles and a change in skin texture. The heat stimulates collagen production, improves oxygenation and blood circulation, and promotes healthy cell turnover. You will see a noticeable wrinkle reduction and tighter, more vibrant skin.

Thread Lift

Thread facelifts are a safer and more convenient option than traditional facelift surgery. It is less invasive and can reduce sagging around your neck, jaw line and cheeks faster than conventional facelift surgery. Special threads are used to discreetly keep the skin and facial tissues in place following surgery. Thread lifts are affordable and provide noticeable results in a shorter time frame than traditional procedures. Thread facelifts are a more convenient and less invasive option than conventional facelifts. They are designed for early signs, such as facial sagging, but not too severe. This unique facelift procedure is quick and painless and can often be done in as little as one to two hours. A thread facelift involves the surgeon inserting thin threads into the skin through small incisions in the target area. The threads attach to the skin and are pulled back to smoothen the face. The treated areas will appear slightly lifted almost immediately. This reduces sagging and gives patients a refreshed appearance.
